Crews were called to the scene of the train derailment at 3:10 p.m.
Hazmat crews were initially called to the scene to assess a crude oil train car but no leaks were found, according to police.
Campers were in the area at the time of the derailment but we're not asked to evacuate and no one was in danger, according to both dispatch and police.
Traffic was diverted in the area of Valley Road in Newberry Township into Goldsboro, according to dispatch.
Crews remained on the scene over a day later.
The cause of the derailment remains under investigation.
